The groom’s father, William Worchel, also resides at route 1, Loyal.

During the service, Mrs. Erwin Dux and Mrs. Verland Dux, accompanied by Miss Rochelle Lautenbach, sang "Oh Promise Me" and "Savior Lead Us."

Mrs. LaVerne Kronberger, Highland, sister of the bride, was matron of honor.  She wore a gold colored suit with white accessories and a corsage of red carnations.

The bridesmaid, Mrs. Harold J. Worchel, La Crosse, the groom’s sister-in-law, was attired in a gray suit and red accessories.  Her corsage was red and white carnations.

Harold J. Worchel, La Crosse, the groom’s brother, was best man, and LaVerne Kronberger, Highland, brother-in-law of the bride, served as groomsman.

Guests were entertained at a supper after the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride, a graduate of the Loyal High School, was employed at the Citizens State Bank, Loyal, and the groom, a graduate of the Granton High School, took a course in teacher’s training before he taught in the Clark County Schools.

The newlyweds are honeymooning on a trip through Wisconsin, Minnesota and the Dakotas.  Upon their return they will reside on the groom’s farm on route 1, Loyal.
