Moecker, Fred W. (29 Jan. 1901 - 12 Sept. 1959)

Fred W. Moecker of Milwaukee died Sept. 12 following a heart attack at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Loren Oseth, in Marinette, where he and Mrs. Moecker were visiting. Burial was made in Milwaukee. The Moecker family formerly lived at Abbotsford.

Fred Moecker was born Jan. 29, 1901, and came with his parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Fred H. Moecker, to Dorchester, in 1902. Rev. Moecker was pastor of St. Peter’s Lutheran church and Christ Lutheran church, until 1922.

Mr. Moecker and Lucille Lupient were married in September, 1925. He was employed at the Abbotsford bank and later was a special deputy commissioner for the state banking department. At the time of his death, he was a senior examiner in the credit union division in the state banking department.

Surviving him are his widow, one son, Don, three grand children, four sisters and a brother.
