Claude Adams returned to Wauwatosa, Wis. Sunday. He came the previous Monday evening to spend a week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Adams. Ray Foster, Hancock, was also at the Adams home from Tuesday until Thursday night.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Juneau and family and her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs, Ervin Breitenfeldt and family of Eau Claire, spent Saturday and Sunday at Indianhead resort at Chetek.

 

Miss Lillian Gosse underwent emergency surgery Monday of last week at Mount Sinai hospital, Milwaukee. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Grambort and Norman Gosse were called there Tuesday. They returned home Sunday and reported that their mother is gaining in strength and showing improvement.

 

George Kelley was admitted to St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, Friday, for treatment of a heart condition. He suffered a severe attack while there but is reported as improving.

 

Otto Muehler drove to La Crosse Sunday, to get Mrs. Muehler and daughter, Mrs. Joe Sivulka, of Medford who had been there since Monday, helping in the care of her sister, Mrs. Florence McInnes, who is ill. Their brother, Frank Schaller, brought Mrs. McInnes here after her release from the hospital and they were here four days.

 

Miss Mary Ann Carlson, who was at Milwaukee with the group of high magazine salesmen of the Abbotsford high school last Wednesday and Thursday, spent Wednesday night with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jeske, and family, who moved there last week from Green Bay.

 

Mrs. Hulda Moore and daughter, Mrs. James Berlin, and daughters of Wisconsin Rapids, visited at the Charley Brown home Thursday.

 

M. T. Ketcham is spending this week at his home here.

 

Mrs. Gilbert Wiedenhoeft of Green Lake, Ill., spent last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Schmirler. Mr. Wiedenhoeft, accompanied by Andrew Schmirler, of Milwaukee, came Friday and they all returned Sunday afternoon.

 

Mrs. Charles Hoffman has been ill at her home.
