Younker, Rudy Mrs. (6 May 1959)

Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Younker held a reception for relatives and friends at their home, Wednesday evening of last week. Their marriage took place that morning at St. Bernard’s Catholic church.

A buffet supper was served at 8:00 o’clock, after which cards were played.

Guests included Mr. and Mrs. George Henning, the attendants, of Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Anton Younker of Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Fritsche and son and Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Younker and children, of Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Rynold Nuerenberger of Stetsonville; Mr. and Mrs. Verlyn Pockrandt and two daughters, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Brandt and two children, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brodhagen and Jimmy, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bumann, Mary and Jean; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lapp, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Uhlig and children, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Uhlig and Bobby, Mrs. Helen Woempner and John Habeck, Abbotsford.

For the occasion the bride wore a navy blue dress and had a corsage made with an orchid and feathered pink carnations. Mrs. Henning had a corsage of white carnations.
