Campbell, Mrs. Annie (1916)

In a letter from Mrs. Annie Campbell at Hanford, Cal.; renewing her subscription to the Republican and Press, she writes:

"Have seen a great area of the state of California in the last year, and I like it very much.  I spent the summer in the southern part of the state.  I think the harbor of San Diego fine.  Found the old Neillsville friends in San Diego; the Marshes, Heaths and Mrs. Tripp, well and happy. Am with my son William in the San Joaquin Valley, a very productive part of California; almost every kind of produce is raised here, much fruit and stock.  Have been well ever since I came."
