Bartholi, Florence (2 DEC 1950)

The Bay View Bethel Evangelical United Brethren Church in Milwaukee was the scene of a double ring ceremony Saturday afternoon, Dec. 2, 1950, in which Miss Florence Bartholi, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cobb of Milwaukee, became the bride of Halbert Vogel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Vogel of Loyal.  The Rev. Mr. Schultz officiated.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her step-father, wore a beige suit with matching accessories.  American Beauty roses made up her shoulder corsage.

The groom chose his sister, Joan Vogel of Loyal, as maid of honor.  She wore a grey suit, with winter white accessories, and wore a shoulder corsage of yellow roses.

The bride’s brother, Richard Bartholi of Milwaukee, was best man.

The mothers of the bride and groom wore shoulder corsages of white mums.

After the ceremony, a reception was given at the bride’s home, with about 50 relatives and friends attending.

The newlyweds will reside at 2573-B North 33rd St., Milwaukee, where the groom is employed at the O.A. Smith Co.  The bride is employed by the city.

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
