Curtiss, Wisconsin

 

Wallace Carlon was seen in town Monday.

 

Jay Leary drove over to Mr. Rossen’s Sunday afternoon.

 

The sleighing is nearly gone and loggers are all wishing for snow to come.

 

Adolph Peterson went to Abbotsford Sunday afternoon and returned in the evening.

 

R. Owens came up to Curtiss Monday noon and will return to his home in Withee this evening.

 

The church Sunday afternoon was well attended, Rev. James Austin conducted the meeting.

 

Mrs. Andrew Olson left Monday noon for North Dakota and will return the latter part of the week.

 

Remember the auction at A. Dithmeyer’s Wednesday commencing at ten o’clock. Everybody come and give them a lift.

 

John Olson sold out his entire stock of goods and house hold furniture and they will depart for Washington the first part of next week, where they will make their future home.

 

Miss H. Dithemeyer lead the Christian Endeavor meeting Sunday evening for her last time for some years to come.  Miss Dithemeyer is an earnest Christian worker and all feel sorry to have her leave.

 

A birthday party was given in honor of Christina Larson Saturday evening. Those present were Rose Dithlemeyer and Hildagard, Fred Green, Alma Dahlberg, Anna Dahlberg, John Staples, Jay Leary, Willard, and Carrie Hickok. All report a joyful time.
