Thomas, Judith A. (25 JUN 1966)

Miss Judith Ann Thomas, Minneapolis, Minn., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Thomas, route 2, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was given in marriage by her father to (Stuart) Brent Tuthill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Tuthill, St. Petersburg, Fla.

The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold officiated at the nuptials taking place at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 1966, in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood.

Mrs. Don Warner was organist.  Mrs. Joann Voss, soloist, sang "O Perfect Love" and "Wedding Prayer."  White gladioli and pink carnations were used to decorate the altar.

The groomsmen-ushers, George Lawton and Paul Leintz, both of Minneapolis, Minn., seated the guests in church as they arrived from St. Petersburg, Fla., Tallahassee, Fla., Atlanta, Ga., Sturgis, S.D., Wanatah, Ind., Chicago, Ill., Minneapolis, Minn., and from Marshfield, Milwaukee, Loyal, Neillsville and Greenwood.

For her wedding the bride selected a white floor length bouffant gown designed with lace bodice, having a Sabrina neckline, silk organza skirt and a three-tiered chapel length train secured at the shoulders.

Her double-tiered princess crown of pearls had lace inserts and pearl teardrops.  She carried a cascade of red roses with foliage.

Miss Vicky Thomas, Minneapolis, Minn., was asked to the maid of honor, and Mrs. Robin Tuthill, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Miss Shirley Ulesich, Neillsville, the bridesmaids.

They were attired in floor length gowns of silk organza over pink taffeta designed with scoop necklines and flowers attached at the back.  Pink four-tiered net petal headpieces with seed pearls completed their attire.  They carried cascades of shaded pink carnations and foliage.

Robert Bruch, Atlanta, Ga., was best man.

The wedding reception was held at Langrecks’s Parkway and the dinner was served in the church parlors at 6 o’clock.

Mrs. Tuthill, a 1964 graduate of Greenwood High School, also graduated last year from Minnesota School of Business and has been employed as a secretary for First National Bank of Minneapolis, Minn.  Her husband, a 1960 graduate of St. Petersburg High School, received his master’s degree in sociology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla., this year.  He has a teaching position at Western Kentucky State College.

After a northern Minnesota and Canadian honeymoon, the Tuthills will live at Bowling Green, Ky., beginning in August.
