Pleasant Ridge (28 Aug 1913)

Mrs. Emil Jahr and son, Walter, and daughters, Mrs. Fred Raine and Miss Myra Jahr, started for Madison to be present at the marriage of her son Marvin, to Miss Emma Silbernagle Tuesday evening.  They will settle on a farm in Illinois where Marvin has recently bought.  We certainly wish them long years of happiness and prosperity.

Mrs. Joe Brown and daughter, Edna, returned home from their visit to Illinois Saturday.

Mrs. Aldera Brown accompanied her friend, Mrs. Parks, home to Stevens Point Monday for a short visit.

Geo. Howard and family, Ed. Selves and family, Mrs. Blackman and son and daughter drove to Christie Sunday and took dinner across the river on the Howard Bros. farm.  Mike Conlin lives there.

The familiar voice of Marion Conlin is again heard on the threshing machine for Mr. Hagle.

Murray Benedict accompanied Charley Johnson home to Black River Falls Monday where he visited a few days before going back to school at Madison.
