Hoeser, Barbara  (1870- ?AUG 1948)

 

Funeral services were held at 8 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, in St. Anthony’s Catholic church for Mrs. George Hoeser, 78, who died on last Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Teress Stevens, in Circle, Mont., where she had made her home  for the past two years. The Rev. Fr. Aloys Zinthefer officiated, and burial was in the parish cemetery.

 

The former Barbara Goetz, Mrs. Hoeser was born in Germany in 1870 and came to the town of York when she was 15 years old.

 

She is survived by three sons, Joseph and Leon of Loyal and Frank of Neillsville, and seven daughters, Mrs. Barbara Stevens, Mrs. Rose Schule, Mrs. Bertha Briebach, Mrs. Harry Bierbach, Mrs. Katie Huntzel and Miss Sophie Hoeser, all of Circle, and Mrs. Anna Dougherty of Pine River, Minn.

 

Surviving also are two brothers, John Goetz of Loyal and Joseph Goetz of Beaver Dam; one sister Miss Anna Goetz, of Loyal; 33 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
