Haselow, Linda M. (13 AUG 1966)

Miss Linda Mary Haselow and Allan James Dallman were married Saturday, Aug. 13, 1966, at 2:30 p.m. in the First Congregational United Church of Christ at Owen, the Rev. Robert Goessling officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Haselow of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dallman of Greenwood.  Miss Sheila Koplitz was organist and Arlyn Mills the soloist.  He sang "Hold Thou My Hand" and "The Lord’s Prayer."

White and yellow gladioli decorated the church for the wedding.  The bride appeared in a white floor length gown of chiffon over taffeta designed with empire styling and soft pleats on the slim skirt.  The detachable train had lace trim as did the waistline and habuke sleeves.  Her silk fingertip veil was secured to a matching headpiece styled in two interlocking bows.  She carried three tailored yellow roses tied with yellow ribbon.

Miss Katie Habighorst, Owen, was maid of honor.  Miss Mary Lou Kolpanen, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Larry Dallman, Greenwood, wore bridesmaids.  Each donned a yellow empire street length dress of chiffon over taffeta, A-line skirt and bodice of brocade.  Each wore a headpiece of yellow chiffon and taffeta styled in a bow and carried a tailored yellow rose tied with yellow ribbon.

Randy Frederickson, Owen, served as the groom’s best man, while Robert Haselow, Madison, and Larry Dallman, greenwood, were groomsmen.  Stanley Schwarze, Eau Claire, and Charles Haselow, Indianapolis, Indiana, ushered.  The groom and his attendants were attired in white dinner jackets with yellow carnation boutonnieres.

The wedding reception in church parlors followed the ceremony.  Dinner was served in the church dining room at 4:30.  Guests then went to the Elmer Haselow home and later to the Ben Dallman home for the evening reception.

The bride is a 1965 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, one semester, and the Wis. State University at Eau Claire from January thru summer school.  The groom is a 1962 graduate of Owen-Withee High School and a 1964 graduate of the Eau Claire Institute of Technology.  He is employed at Farmers and Merchants Bank in Greenwood.

Following a short honeymoon in Northern Wisconsin, the newlyweds are now at home in Greenwood.
