Scheuerman, Alice K. (17 JUN 1967)

Holy Family Catholic Church of Willard was the scene of a wedding during which vows were pledged by Miss Alice Kay Scheuerman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Scheuerman, route 2, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Edward Joseph Petkovsek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Petkovsek, route 1, Willard.

The Rev. William Nikolai performed the nuptial ceremony at 10 o’clock Saturday morning, June 17, 1967, with Mr. Scheuerman giving his daughter in marriage.  The church choir sang.

The floor length bridal gown of nylon over bridal taffeta and alencon lace was entrained, and her headpiece was a crown of pearls securing a bouffant veil of illusion.  Her flowers were pink roses and stephanotis entwined with ivy.

Miss Delores Petkovsek, Waukegan, Ill., was maid of honor, with Mrs. Robert Scheuerman, Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. William Petkovsek, Zion, Ill., the brides-matrons.

They were seen in floor length formals of Copen blue organza and taffeta.  Their headpieces were in the form of a blossom and they carried pale pink carnations.

Cindy Scheuerman was flower girl and Norman Wayer the ring bearer.

William Petkovsek, Zion, Ill., was best man; Robert Scheuerman and Charles Bruske, both of Chicago, Ill., were groomsmen; and Richard Scheuerman and William Boh were ushers.

The wedding dinner, reception and dance took place in the evening at West Side Hall at Willard.

Both the bride and groom graduated from Greenwood High School, she in 1963 and he in 1961.  The bride was employed at Citizens National Bank in Waukegan and her husband, formerly in Gurnee, Ill., will be employed by the Marshfield Electric and Water Department.

When the newlyweds return from a northern Wisconsin and Minnesota honeymoon, they will live in Marshfield at 428 S. Central Ave.
