Gall, Rose (25 AUG 1883-03 APR 1948)

 

The Rev. Fr. Aloys Zinthefer officiated at a requiem high mass at 9 o’clock Wednesday morning, Apr. 7, for Mrs. William Gall, 64, who died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday afternoon, Apr. 3, while at the Walter Gray home. She had not been ill previous to the attack.

 

Funeral services were held at St. Anthony’s Catholic church, with burial in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were John Elsinger Sr., Leo and Frank Degenhardt, Lee Shupe, and Joseph and Frank Wendel.

 

Mrs. Gall, the former Rose Schuld, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Simon Schuld, was born at Loyal on Aug. 25, 1883, and was married here to William Gall on June 5, 1898.

 

She spent her entire life in Loyal and vicinity, with the exception of three years, 1908 to 1911, when she resided at Park Falls. Mrs. Gall was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic church and its Altar Society.

 

Surviving beside her husband are two daughters, Mrs. George (Adeline) Hammond of Loyal and Mrs. Martin (Veronica) Lautenbach of Granton; four sons, Bernard of Dorchester, Edwin of Neillsville, and Harold and Arnold of Milwaukee; 23 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Leander Schuld, of Neillville, and four sisters, Mrs. Mathilda Bauer of Milwaukee, Mrs. William Bauden of West Allis, Mrs. George Frei of Neillsville and Mrs. Ed Domine of Loyal.

 

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Gall, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Gall and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hagen, all of West Allis; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gall and Mr. and Mrs. Art Domine of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Gall of Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Dencker and son and Bill Hahn of Howard S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Lautenbach of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Gall and family, Mr and Mrs. Edward Frei, Mr. and Mrs. George Frei, Mrs. Leroy Marshall, Mrs. Helen Gall and son, Raymond, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gault, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Schwellenbach, Mr. and Mrs. George Pagenkopf, Mr. and Mrs. Leander Schuld and Mrs. Margaret Brule, all of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Croker of Wausau; Mrs. Mathilda Bauer and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hagen of Germantown, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Gall of Chippewa Falls.

 

The Tribune extends to the bereaved its sympathy in the loss of a beloved relative.
