Zuber, Anna (1889? - 26 NOV 1956)

Anna Zuber, 67, a patient at the Havenet Nursing Home, Owen, died shortly before 5 p.m. Monday of a broken neck which resulted from f all from a porch roof of the home.

Coroner John Bergemann said the death was accidental.  According to his report, Mrs. Zuber crawled out a door of a fire escape and then onto the porch roof.  Tracks in the snow indicated she slipped and fell 14 feet to the ground.

Vera Neuman, attendant, who found the body, said Mrs. Zuber was last seen about 5:30 when she was given supper.  She was discovered missing 20 minutes later and was found outside at 5:55 p.m.

Mrs. Zuber, the mother of 10 children, had been at the home a little more than two years.  She suffered from a heart condition.
