Mahoney, Eugenia (10 JUN 1890 - 11 SEP 1956)

 

A Requiem High Mass will be said tomorrow morning Friday, Sept. 14, at nine o’clock by Fr. Crubel at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, for Mrs. William J. Mahoney, Sr., of this city.  Burial will be made at Riverside Cemetery.

 

This evening at eight o’clock a Rosary will be sung at Griebenow’s Funeral Home.

 

The pallbearers group includes W. K. Doonan, Pete Madsen, E. C. Olds, Edward Wendt, Neal Laine, C. N. McMillan, Edward Thorson, Roy Gabriel and Emil Hansen.

 

Mrs. Mahoney passed away unexpectedly at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Tuesday forenoon.  Although she had been a medical and surgical patient at the hospital most of the time for the past three months her condition was not considered critical until Tuesday morning she suffered a stroke.  Members of her family were immediately notified and all but one daughter, Mrs. Jack Wilson of Rochester, N.Y., were with her when she passed away later in the forenoon.

 

Eugenia Scot Mahoney was born June 10 1890, in Eau Claire.  She and her family have been residents of Owen (Clark Co. Wis.) for the past 30 years.

 

Surviving are her husband three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Janet) Wilson of Rochester, N.Y., Mrs. Emery (Margaret) Erickson, Owen, and Mrs. Norbert (Jean) Pabich of With; one son, William Mahoney Jr., city; and a sister, Mrs. Helene E. Charles of Eau Claire.
