Marth, Beatrice J. (Schoelzel) Christianson (September 15, 1931 - March 24, 2010) 
 

Beatrice J. Christianson Marth, 79, Wausau, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital after a battle with cancer. 
 

Beatrice was born September 15, 1931, in Colby to Rudolph and Olivia (Gutenberger) Schoelzel.   
 

She married James Marth on February 10, 1989, at First English Lutheran Church in Wausau.   
 

Beatrice was primarily a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.   
 

She is survived by her husband; children, Jody (Ben) Bessert, Dave (Terry) Christianson and Peggy (Daniel Mears) Christianson; three grandchildren; brothers, Rudy (Kathy) Schoelzel, Jerold (Joan) Schoelzel, Darnell (Janice) Schoelzel. Ronald Schoelzel, Glen (Ramona) Schoelzel, Jim (Bonnie) Schoelzel and Dennis (Edith) Schoelzel; and sisters, Darlene (Ed) Wachtendonk, Ione Pipkorn, Emerita Phillips, Audris Geotz, Sandy (Jim) Hudak, Connie (Duane) Stine and Korliss Uhling.    
 

Beatrice was preceded in death by her first husband, Oscar Christianson; brothers, DuWayne, Arlyn and Lyle; and sister, Doris and Patsy. 

 
Funeral services were March 26 at First English Lutheran Church, Wausau. Burial was in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
