Schwarze, Lynn (14 JUNE 1946-08 DEC 2009)

 

Lynn L. Schwarze, 63, retired U.S. chief petty officer, San Diego, Calif., died on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at his home. He was cremated and his ashes were spread at sea from a U.S. Naval vessel. A private gathering will be held at a later date.

 

Lynn L. Schwarze was born on June 14, 1946, in the town of Warner, to Orlin and Bernice (nee Hintz) Schwarze. After graduating from Greenwood High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for more than 25 years. Following his active duty, he worked for the VA hospital in San Diego as an internship coordinator for the psychology department. He volunteered for local activities and organizations.

 

Survivors include three sisters, Ardith Fischer, Owen, Lila Gullixson, Madison, and Marion (Frank) Szep, Lisbon; and one sister-in-law, Luanne Schwarze.

 

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brother, Vern.
