Goebel, Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Golden - 25 November 1958) 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Goebel were pleasantly surprised Tuesday evening when the following people came to help them celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary: 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Bielkie, Louis Krause, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Moldenhauer, the Ray Kurth family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lautenbach, Rev. and Mrs. Beninga and son, Mr. and Mrs. Martin A. Krause, Mr. and Mrs. Arno Winter, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Krause, Mrs. Wallace Krause and daughter, Cheryl, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Garbisch, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hillert, Mrs. Carl Krause and daughter, Kathleen, and son, Roger, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Garbisch and daughters, Carol Jean and Mary Ellen, Dick Quast and Norman Wessenberg. 
 

The evening was spent playing "Bingo" and visiting.  A lunch was served, and a gift was presented to the honored couple.  
 

Mr. and Mrs. Goebel have been residents of the Town of Grant their entire lives.  They were married in the American Lutheran Church, Town of Grant, November 25, 1908, by the Rev. J. Reiff.
