Langreck, Joyce Beverly (Marriage - 7 June 1958)

Miss Joyce Beverly Langreck of Rt. 1, Neillsville, and John Albert Zinthefer of Marshfield, were married June 7, in a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Joseph Eisenmann of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Jake Langreck and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Zinthefer.

For her wedding the bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown with a full bouffant skirt of ruffles of hand rolled nylon tulle and lace.  The lace bodice was fashioned with a Sabrina neckline, trimmed with sequins and pearls.  A fingertip veil of hand rolled nylon tulle cascaded from a crown-shaped head piece trimmed with pearls.  She carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses and stephanotis, centered with a white orchid.

Miss Lucille Zinthefer of Marshfield, sister of the groom, was maid-of-honor, and Miss Sharon Dux, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid.

The groom was attended by Romas Zinthefer as best man, and Herbert Hoeser of Neillsville as groomsman.  Stanley Knetter of Marshfield and Ted Dux of Neillsville ushered.

A dinner for members of the immediate families was served at noon at the Legion Hall, followed by a reception and buffet supper for approximately 150 guests.

On their return from a wedding trip to the western states they will reside in Marshfield in a new home recently completed.

The bride is a graduate of Neillsville High School and has been employed in Marshfield.  Mr. Zinthefer attended Marshfield schools and works in Marshfield.
