Greeler, Delores L. (Marriage - 31 May 1958)

The Rev. Alfred Schewe officiated at the wedding Saturday of Miss Delores L. Greeler and Raymond L. Zipfel.  The double ring ceremony was performed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Neillsville, and was followed by a reception at the home of the bride’s parents on Rt. 1.  A wedding supper was served at the parish hall.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Greeler of Neillsville, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white floor-length gown of nylon tulle over satin, trimmed with sequins and pearls.  Chantilly lace panels were fitted on the skirt over a full bouffant under skirt. The Chantilly fitted bodice was fashioned with a Sabrina neckline, with sequin and pearl trim.  Her fingertip veil of sheer illusion tulle, trimmed with pearls and sequins, cascaded from a rhinestone headpiece.  She carried a bouquet of pink roses and lilies-of-the-valley.

Miss Janice Greeler, the bride’s sister, was maid-of-honor.  Miss Ruth Zipfel, sister of the groom from Bay City, Mich., and Mrs. Roger Tyler, another sister of the bride, were bridesmaids.

Keith Counsell of Detroit, Mich., attended as best man.  Groomsmen were Erland Greeler, brother of the bride, and Roger Tyler, a brother-in-law.  David Hillert and Harold Mayer, Fairchild, were the ushers.

Brenda and Peggy Matter of Spencer were flower girls.

"The Lord’s Prayer" was sung by Arlyn Mills, accompanied by Victor Lehman.

On their return from a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, N. Y., the newlyweds will reside on the groom’s farm on Rt. 1.  The bride has been employed in Neillsville for several years.
