West, Grace (20 November 1885 - 15 November 1957) 
 

Mrs. Grace West, 71, of 224 W. 4^th Street Neillsville, died November 15 at Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for several weeks. 
 

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. The Rev. Virgil Holmes, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiated. 
 

Mrs. West, nee Grace Morse, was born November 20, 1885, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Morse. She spent her entire life in Clark County.  Following her marriage to Andred West on November 20, 1907 in Neillsville, they resided on a farm near Christie.  Her husband was a carpenter.  After his death she moved to Neillsville in 1928, and for the past 20 years made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Jake, Jr. 
 

She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Glen (Nina) Drew, Milwaukee; Mrs. William (Irene) Santas, Beloit; Mrs. William (Blanche) Jake, Jr., Neillsville; Mrs. Roland (Mildred) MacArthur, Norwood, Ill.  Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Olive Kelch of Rochester, N.Y. and Mrs. Mary Sischo, Salem, Ore.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
