Farnsworth, William B.  (07 SEPT 1876-25 DEC 1947)

 

Funeral rites were held Saturday afternoon at the Loyal Methodist church for William B. Farnsworth, 70, who died Christmas morning at 6:10 o’clock, after a long illness.

 

The Rev. L. H; Holmes and the Rev. M. C. Gilbert officiated at the rites, and burial was in the Loyal cemetery. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Farnsworth., Mr. Farnsworth was born near Baraboo on Sept. 7, 1876, spent his boyhood at Caldonia, and was married to Wilhelmina Wobig on Apr. 29, 1902.

 

Surviving are his widow and two children, Mrs. August (Myrtle) Mueller and Erwin Farnsworth, both of Spencer. There are three grandchildren, six brothers and three sisters. Two brothers are dead.
