Zahradke, Carolyn, Mae (Marriage - 11 June 1957)

The Rev. Fr. Eisenmann, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Neillsville, performed the double ring ceremony June 11, in which Miss Carolyn Mae Zahradke of Granton became the bride of Edward M. Flanegan of Minneapolis.

Parents of the couple are Mrs. Michael G. Zahradke of Granton and Mrs. Alice Flanegan of Penn’s Grove, New Jersey.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, William Zahradke of Granton.  Mrs. Richard Eibergen of Granton attended her sister as matron of honor, and the Misses Rosa Lee and Barbara Jean Zahradke, sisters of the bride, served as bridesmaids.

Charles Kirchner of Minneapolis attended the groom as bestman.  Groomsmen were Keith Behnke and Michael William Zahradke.  Ushers were Paul Bladl, Jr., and Richard Eibergen, both of Granton.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother in Granton.  Mrs. Richard Gillard of Granton and Mrs. Ray Meyer of Eau Claire presided.  Mrs. Richard Catlin of Eau Clarie had charge of the guest book.

Mr. and Mrs. Flanegan will reside in Minneapolis.
