O’Brien, Leon (? - 17 March 1957) 
 

Leon O’Brien, 56, of Hixton, died Sunday afternoon following a heart attack.  He was at the time of his death, working in construction work in Bloomington, Ill. 
 

As a boy Leon resided with his parents the late Mr. and Mrs. Ted O’Brien, in the Town of York.  He attended the Oriole Hill School. 
 

He is survived by a son, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.  Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Minnie) Nettleton of Hixton; and two brothers, Harley and Clayton of the Black River Falls community. 
 

Funeral services are to be held this afternoon (Thursday) from the Jensen Funeral Home at Hixton.  Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
