Hable, Elaine Elizabeth (Marriage - 1956)

The Immanuel Lutheran Church at Hewitt was the scene of the wedding of Miss Elaine Elizabeth Hable of Marshfield and Ronald Edward Greeler of the Town of York.  The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Truman B. Broetzman, pastor, before an altar decorated with cut flowers.

The bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hable of Marshfield, wore nylon tulle over satin gown fashioned with a tight fitting bodice and a full skirt.  Her finger-tip veil was secured by a lace cap.

She carried a white Bible with red roses and stephanotis.  Rose buds caught in streamers cascaded to the floor.

Miss Deloris Greeler, cousin of the groom, was he bride’s maid of honor.  Veryl Herdrich, another cousin, and Betty Wichman, were her bridesmaids.

The groom was attended by his friend, Raymond Zipfel, as bestman.  Ushers were Robert Herdrich and Floyd Wichman.

Little Darrell Beilke acted as ring bearer and Marilyn Beilke was flower girl.

One hundred guests attended the reception held in the parlor of the church, which was decorated with cut flowers.

The bride is a graduate of the Auburndale High School and attended the Interstate Business College at Fargo, N. D.  She is employed in the office of the Consowell Corporation.  The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Greeler, attended Neillsville High School and has work at the Rollohome Corporation in Marshfield.

Upon their return from a wedding trip through the western states they will reside in Marshfield.
