Tot is Killed Under Wheels of Milk Truck
- Randy, 19 months, wanders behind backing truck Wed. morning -
Randy, 19-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs.
Alvin Abblon of the Town of Unity was killed about 10 o’clock
Wednesday morning beneath the wheels of a milk truck.
The youngster wandered into the path of
the milk truck, driven for the Kasper Cheese factory by Karl
Gottschalk, as it was backing up in the Abblon yard.
The farm is located near the Kasper
factory, northeast of Riplinger.
Authorities were notified by Mr. Kasper,
and Sheriff Ray Kutsche and Coroner John R. Bergemann
investigated.
Randy was the youngest of three children. The Abblons have two daughters, Cheryl, 5, and Debra, 3.
