Miss Jean Boe of Minneapolis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Boe of rural Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Pfc. Bernard A. Kuehl of Camp Pendleton, Calif., Marine son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Kuehl of rural Thorp, Wis., were married Saturday evening at 8:15 at the Baptist Rural Mission Church northeast of Greenwood.  The Rev. James Cooper performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride and her attendant, her sister Evelyn of Minneapolis, both wore white ballerina length dresses, white pumps and white hats and veils.  The bride carried a bouquet of deep red roses and small white lace flowers.  Her sister carried a bouquet of white roses with red flowers mined through.

The groom chose his brother, James Kuehl of North Dakota as his attendant; also Wallace and Victor, brothers of the groom, acted as ushers.  All attendants and the groom wore white rose boutonnieres.

The bride’s mother wore a two piece orchid dress and a white rose corsage.  The groom’s mtoehr attended wearing a white flowered nylon dress with white accessories and a white rose corsage.

The church was decorated with bouquets of roses, mums, asters, also bouquets of garden mixed flowers, furnished by the groom’s parents.

A reception was held at the bride’s parents’ home west of Greenwood, to 40 relatives and the minister.  The table was beautiful with a basket of colored asters, glads and ferns, and the large three tier wedding cake.

The pianist played the wedding march.  She wore a corsage of white carnations.

The happy couple left for San Diego, Calif. on Tuesday evening, as Bernard’s 30 days furlough ended Sunday, July 31.
