Huser, Theora Petrine (14 Feb. 1917 - 24 Dec. 2009) 
 

Theora Petrine Huser, 92, of Arpin, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009, at the Hewitt House, Hewitt. 
 

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church, Vesper. The Rev. Chester Oswoski will officiate. Burial in St. James Parish Cemetery. 
 

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church. 
 

A complete obituary will be in Monday's Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune and Marshfield News-Herald.

Theora Petrine Huser, 92, of Arpin died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009, at the Hewitt House in Hewitt. 
 

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church, Vesper, with the Revs. Chester Osowski and William Menzel officiating. Burial will be in St. James Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at St. James Church from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday. 
 

Theora was born Feb. 14, 1917, in the town of Sherwood, Clark County, to her parents, Albert and Mayme (Scholtz) Gall. She married Joseph Nicholaus Huser on March 5, 1935. 
 

In addition of raising 13 children, Theora assisted her husband, Joseph in the management of the family farm, until the time of his death in 1973. She continued to be involved with the daily activities of the family farm, operated by her sons, until retiring to Vesper. 
 

Theora was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Vesper and participated in every area of parish activity. During her lifetime, she was active in the Parish Council of Catholic Women, Wood County Deanery, Diocesan Pastoral Council and Rural Life Committee. 
 

Theora is survived by eight daughters, Virginia (Donald) Tritz of Arpin, Joanne (August) Heeg of Unity, Emily (Bruce) Zimmerman of Vesper, Janet Traxler of Milwaukee, Elaine (Ray) Seefeldt of Arpin, Sue (Dennis) Krings of Arpin, Bonnie (Bob) Draxler of Auburndale, and Petrine (Paul) Pongratz of Auburndale; four sons, Donald (Karan) Huser of Wisconsin Rapids, Frank (Rose) Huser of Arpin, Eugene (Delores) Huser of Auburndale and Jeff (Sandy) Huser of Junction City and daughter-in-law, Barbara Huser of Loveland, Colo. 
 

Theora is also survived by 39 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. 
 

Theora was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph; son, Ronald, brothers, Clyde and Rolland Gall, daughter, Nancy and her granddaughter, Dawn Marie Heeg. 
 

A memorial will be established at a later date in Theora's name. 
 

Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids is handling all arrangements.
