Hanby, Betty (Marriage - 5 June 1954) 
 

Miss Betty Hanby, daughter of Mrs. Meta Hanby, Neillsville and Jack Eddy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Eddy of Neillsville, were married Saturday June 5, 1954, at St. John’s Lutheran parsonage with the Rev. Alfred Schewe performing the single ring ceremony. 
 

The bride, given in marriage by her mother wore a lavender suit with a corsage of yellow roses and lily of the valley. 
 

Miss Devonne Hanby, sister of the bride, was her maid of honor, wearing a blue suit, with a corsage of pink roses and lily of the valley. 
 

The groom was attended by Richard Eddy of Cataract. 
 

The immediate families of the couple witnessed the ceremony. 
 

A reception was held for 50 guests at the Roy Eddy home, which was decorated with white and yellow streamers.  
 

The bride attended the Neillsville High School for three years and has been at home all her life.  The groom is a graduate of the Neillsville High School with the class of 1952.  
 

Guests from Cataract, Merrillan, Beloit, Rockton, Ill., Alma Center and Sparta were here for the wedding.
