Rudolph "Rudy" Zorman, 75, Marshfield, died on Wednesday, Nov. 4. 2009. A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield. The Rev. Peter Manickam officiated. Suzanne Golden was the organist for Sacred Heart Church Funeral Choir. Burial was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery where military rites were conducted by the American Legion Post 54, Marshfield.

 

Rudolph Zorman was born on April 14, 1934, in Willard, to Louis and Jenny Zorman. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School. He was a veteran of the United States army serving during the Korean Conflict. He farmed in the town of Lincoln, was a realtor for Strout Realty, an insurance adjuster at Seneca Sig Insurance, and later owned and operated Zorman Insurance Agency.

 

He enjoyed woodworking in his shop, reading, storytelling, telling jokes, and going to breakfast with his buddies, listening to country music, helping his wife with her crafts and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

 

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie; three children, Nikki Zorman, Madison, Karen (Donovan Roach) Doy, Genesco, Ill., and Heidi (Eric) Biesterveld, Dallas, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Connie Zorman, Marshfield; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

 

Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Rick; and two brothers.
