Boelter, Natalie A. (9 OCT 1954)

 

Miss Natalie Ann Boelter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Boelter, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Thomas G. Gisvold, son of Mrs. Ludwig Gisvold, Stanley, exchanged marriage vows Saturday, Oct 9th, 1954, , at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Thorp.  Rev. A. N. Muckerheide performed the ceremony at a nine o’clock nuptial mass.

 

The bride, escorted to the altar by her father, wore a floor length gown of Chantilly lace and nylon tulle over white slipper satin.  The lace bodice was secured with lace buttons to below the waistline and had a scalloped Peter Pan collar.  Long lace sleeves tapered to points over the wrist and were detailed with lace buttons.  The bouffant skirt of layers of tulle was trimmed with long sprays of carved lace appliqués.  She carried a white lace covered prayer book, decorated with orchids and white streamers to which tiny orange blossoms were attached.

 

Mrs. Dennis Gisvold of Stanley was matron of honor, and Miss Ruth Smith, Milwaukee, was bridesmaid.  Mary Gisvold, Stanley, served as junior bridesmaid.

 

Dennis Gisvold, Stanley, attended the groom as best man.  Robert Horne, Green Bay; Ray Headrick and Don Hinke of Stanley ushered.

 

The bride is a graduate of the Thorp High School and St. Mary’s School of Nursing, Wausau.  The groom was graduated from Stanley High School and Drake University, Des Moines, Ia.
