Jacobson, Mr. and Mrs. Francis (Silver - June 1953)  
 

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Jacobson celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Sunday, June 14, in the church parlors of the Sherwood Community church.  The Sunday school and relatives were in attendance. 
 

The afternoon was spent visiting and a short program was led by Rev. Axel Segregren. 
 

The honored couple received a purse of money from their friends and a chest of silverware was given to them by their children.  Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gehre presented them with a beautiful wedding cake. 
 

Guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence VandeBerg and family of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Karlen, Mr. and Mrs. Stilman Huntley, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Huntley and daughters of Monticello; Ruth Bedlingmaier, Monroe; Mrs. Jacob Wettach, Belleville; Mrs. Arthur Sparks, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Jacobson and Ronnie, Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Maveus, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gehre, Nekoosa; Rev. and Mrs. Axel Segregren, Veedum; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin VandeBerg, Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Huntley, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Chase, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Neal Coulthard and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jacobson, Earl and Jerry, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Schwanebeck and family, Mrs. (balance of article missing.  Dmk)
