Berg, Lawrence (1894 - 2 March 1953) 
 

Lawrence Berg, 59, formerly of Greenwood, died Monday, March 2, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lars Larson at Stanley.  Mr. Berg opened a photo studio in Greenwood in 1921, which he operated until 1950, when he moved to Stanley to reside with his sister. 
 

Funeral services for Mr. Berg were held Thursday, March 5, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Stanley. The Rev. John Mason officiated at the last rites. Burial was in the East Side Cemetery. 
 

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Andrew Berg of Neenah, two sisters, Mrs. Carl Lempke of Neenah and Mrs. Lars Larson of Stanley, and two brothers, Alfred of Stanley and Robert of Bagley, Minn.
