Archie Dorn, 77, died at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, Tuesday morning. Mr. Dorn, who had been suffering from a heart condition, was intermittently hospitalized for the past year. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3:00 o’clock at the York Center Methodist church, south of Loyal, and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Dorn, who was born in Outagamie county, Jan. 20, 1880, came with his parents as a small boy to a farm south of Loyal. He lived in the vicinity of Loyal and farmed, except for a period of five years, when he lived in the state of Washington.

In 1906, he and Mamie Rondorft were married at Spokane and two years later they came to near Loyal. Last fall, due to ill health, Mr. and Mrs. Dorn moved to Abbotsford.

Surviving him are his widow, sons, Lowell, Abbotsford; Dale, New Lisbon; and daughter, Mrs. Ansell (Lucille) Peterson, of Marshfield. There are five grand children.

Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Will White, Spokane, Wash., two brothers, Ray and Al Dorn, of Seattle. A sister preceded him in death.
