The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev, J. C. Langholz, before the church altar, decorated with roses and mixed flowers. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father.

For her wedding she chose a dress of white lace over satin. The fitted bodice was designed with a sweetheart neckline and leg-o-mutton sleeves. Her fingertip veil was edged with lace and caught to deep pink roses.

The bride carried out the traditional of ‘something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue," For jewelry she wore a necklace of pearls belonging to Mrs. Julius Rossow and pearl earrings.

The bride’s attendants were Miss Gladys Schmidt, a sister of the groom, as maid of honor, in peach net over satin. Her dress was designed with a bodice with lace inserts. Mrs. Edward Rossow served as bridesmaid for her sister’s wedding, in a blue sharkskin crepe dress designed similar to the bride’s. They carried colonial bouquets of pink and white carnations and wore headdresses. Their pearl earrings were a gift from the bride.

Sandra Lee Anderson and Mary Lee Davidson of Waukesha, nieces of the bride, served as flower girls. Both wore pink floor length dresses and headdresses to match. They carried bouquets of pink and white carnations tied with pink ribbons. Their gold cross necklaces were gifts from the bride.

During the ceremony, Mrs. Erwin Dux and Mrs. Ervin Noeldner sang "O Perfect Love" and "Crowned With Thy Benediction," accompanied by Mrs. Seeman.

Mrs. Kuester viewed her daughter’s wedding in a black and white check sharkskin ensemble, with white accessories. Mrs. Schmidt, the bridegroom’s mother, attended the festivities in a fuchsia crepe dress. Each wore a shoulder corsage of daisies, pink and white carnations tied with silver ribbons.

Supper was served to 200 relatives and friends at the bride’s home which was decorated with white, blue and peach streamers and white bells. Roses and wedding cakes centered the tables. The cakes were baked and decorated by Mrs. Edward Rossow and Mrs. Herman Schefus. Waitresses were Angelyn Marg, Betty Knack, Eunice Smith, Myrtle Clouse, Marie Wegner and Irene Dommer.
