On Thursday evening, Aug. 16th, the 25th anniversary of ordination and installation of the Rev. F. H. Sprengler, pastor of Christ Lutheran and St. Peter’s Lutheran churches was observed by the congregations. Services were conducted at Christ Lutheran church of Abbotsford with the Rev. R. Mueller of Spencer in charge.

After the service of thanksgiving and praise, the congregations repaired to the basement of the church where a social program and lunch had been arranged.

He called upon the chairman of the congregations, Elroy Broeske of St. Peter’s and Alvin Goldamer of Christ church, and a number of pastors, who all offered congratulations and words of encouragement to Pastor and Mrs. Sprengler. The anniversary cake was baked and decorated by Mrs. Otto Busse. A cash purse was presented to the celebrant at the close of the observance.
