Francel, Johanna (13 May 1887 - 30 July 1952)   
 

Funeral services were held July 30 for Mrs. Frank (Johanna) Francel.  Interment was made in the parish cemetery at Willard. 
 

Mrs. Francel was born May 13, 1887, in Yugoslavia. She came to the States in 1902, locating in Ely, Minn.  The next year she married Mr. Francel. They had 10 children, as follows: Frank, Jr., Marshfield; Hannah, Mrs. Kokaly, Willard; Joseph, Augusta: Agnes, Mrs. Frank Schnaitmann, Evanston,  Ill.; Mary, Mrs. Lambert Butzen, Chicago; Frances, Mrs. I. J. Koschak, Greenwood; John, at home; Theresa, Mrs. Cyril Kranjc, North Chicago; Pauline, Mrs. Anton Hribar, Chicago; Josephine, Mrs. Ludvik Koschak, Jacksonville, Fla.; Hedvey, Mrs. Frank Klinke, Greenwood; paul, in the Air Force, San Marcas, Tex.; and one daughter, Rose, who died in infancy. 
 

Surviving also are one brother, Anton Kozar, Ely, Minn., a sister, Mrs. Louis Perushek, Ely, Minn.; and one sister in Europe, as well as her husband and the above named children and 23 grandchildren. 
 

Pallbearers were: John Pernic, Ludvik Perushek, Joseph Tolaney, Frank Laken, John Perme and Anton Prebil. 
 

Relatives and friends from away at the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Anton Hribar, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Lambert Butzen, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schnaitmann, Evanston, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Kranjc, North Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Francel, Augusta; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Francel, Jr., Marshfield; Mrs. Vincent Lesar, Aurora, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. William Lesar and family, Allen, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kozar, Ely, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Perushek and son, Ely, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Koschak, Jacksonville, Fla.; Mr. and Mrs. I. J. Koschak,  Greenwood; Sgt. Paul Francel, U. S. Air Force, San Marcas, Tex.; and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Klinke, Greenwood.
