Gruhlke, Dorothy M. (8 Aug. 1929 - 28 Sept. 2009) 
 

WITHEE -- Dorothy M. Gruhlke, 80, of Withee died Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital. 
 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Holway. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. 
 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church. 
 

Hemer Funeral Service of Medford is assisting the family with arrangements. 
 

Dorothy was born Aug. 8, 1929, in Marathon County to Herman and Anna (Boehm) Becker. She was united in marriage June 19, 1954, in Athens to Clifford C. Gruhlke. Clifford preceded her in death Dec. 25, 1997. 
 

She lived and worked on her parents' dairy farm until her marriage to Clifford. They also raised mink in the town of Holway for a period of time. 
 

She is survived by 12 children, Shirley Gruhlke of Withee, June (Dean) Kautzer of Medford, Dorothy Jo Fleming of Loyal, Violet (Dan) Coons of Chandler, Ariz., Garry (Darla) Gruhlke of Edgar, Lester Gruhlke of Medford, Randy Gruhlke of Loyal, Ronny Gruhlke of Medford, Terry Gruhlke of North Carolina, Cory (Susan) Gruhlke of Stanley, Leon Gruhlke of Withee and Clifford Gruhlke of Withee; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 
 

She is further survived by two brothers, Dale (Sally) Becker and Delmar (Marilyn) Becker, both of Wausau; and three sisters, Irma (Lee) Parmer of Mattoon, Verna Groff of Medford and Marcella Cook of North Carolina.
