Earl, Dorothy #2 (2 JUN 1904 - 7 JUL 1953)

 

Funeral services will be held at two o’clock Saturday afternoon for Miss Dorothy Earl, daughter of Mr. Fred Earl, Abbotsford.  Miss Earl, a former resident of this community (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.) passed away at a hospital in Milwaukee late Tuesday night.  She was 50 years of age.

 

Services will be conducted from the First Congregational Church, Owen, with Rev. Arthur Meinhardt in charge.  Burial will be made at Riverside Cemetery.

 

Miss Earl had been ill for the past three to four years and was forced to give up her teaching profession because of her health a year ago.  For many years she was a member of the faculty at Oconto, Wis.  Since discontinuing teaching she had been making her home in Racine.

 

She is survived by her father, two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Edna) Cattanach, Kimberly, Wis., and Mrs. Roy (Evelyn) Quinn, and one brother, Charlie of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
