Beaver, Jeanette (25 FEB 1946)  ?If the paper is printed on Thursday, They were married on Monday of that week

The children’s choir of St. Anthony’s Catholic church furnished music for the nuptial high mass read last Monday morning by the Rev. Aloys Zinthefer, when Miss Jeanette Beaver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Beaver, became the bride of Sgt. Donald Cole of Chili. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Miss Maxine Adler of Marshfield, a friend of the bride, served as maid of honor, and thr bride’s brother, Donald Beaver, of Loyal, was best man. Other attendants were Lt. (j.g.) and Mrs. Glenn Cole, Brother and sister-in-law of the groom. Lieutenant Cole is with the U. S. navy.

The white bridal gown was fashioned with a satin bodice and lace yoke and accented with a dropped shoulder-line, the sleeves ending in points over the wrists. The skirt was heavy lace over satin and ended in a peacock train.

The bride’s quaint Dutch bonnet was made of imported Irish crochet lace, and her fingertip veil was of fine illusion net. She wore a gold cross and carried a bridal bouquet.

Miss Adler had a formal frock of yellow faille, featuring a v-shaped neckline and peplum. Aqua-colored gloves and headdress completed her ensemble. The bridesmaid was similarly dressed in Aqua moire taffeta with shocking pink gloves and headdress. Both attendants carried bouquets with a heart-shaped center of pink Delight roses, bordered with white carnations and white chrysanthemums.

The groom’s mother was attired in cocoa brown and the bride’s mother in blue. Both had shoulder corsages of a single pink Delight rose nested in white carnations.

Immediate Relatives and friends came for the wedding. At noon a dinner was served to about 50 guests at the bride’s home I the town of Beaver, the home being decorated with aqua, yellow and white streamers for the occasion. The reception was held at 12 o’clock noon at the Beaver home, and in the evening a wedding dance was held in Marshfield.

For the past year and a half the bride, a graduate of the Loyal high school with the class of 1944, was employed as office clerk at St. Joseph’s hospital in Marshfield. Her husband, a 1943 graduate of the same high school, is serving with the army air force and is now stationed at the army base at Rozwell, N. M. He is a crew member of the B-29 which returned from the Pacific, after participating in the atomic bombings of Japan. He also served on Tinian island.

Those from away who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gethaus Jr. of Medford, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Schwieso of Clinton, Maj. And Mrs. Raymond Giesal of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Adler and daughter, Patsy, of Marshfield, Mr.and Mrs. William Bealer, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Meissner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Meissner and Mr. and Mrs. John Prust and family, all of Chili, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Schlinsog of Granton, Mrs. Eleanor Bade of Minneapolis, and Mr. and Mrs., Alvin Cole and family of Stratford.
