Ellingson, Emma (22 Sept. 1871 - 26 Dec. 1951)
Funeral services for Miss Emma Ellingson, 80, who died Dec. 26,
1951, were held on Dec. 31 at the Lulloff Funeral Home, at Colby,
with the Rev. F. P. Puhlmann officiating. Internment was made in
the Abbotsford cemetery.
Emma Ellingson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton
Ellingson, was born Sept. 22, 1871 in Wausau. She was educated in
the town of Deer Creek, Taylor county and came to the
Abbotsford-Milan community about 1876 and in 1903 she moved to
Abbotsford, Wis.
The Misses Emma and Mary Ellingson made their
home in Abbotsford for many years and then at Milan with their
brother, Martin.
Miss Ellingson, who was at a convalescent home in
Gladstone, Mich., spent Christmas day at the home of her nephew,
Arvin Ellingson. On Dec. 26, she succumbed to a heart
attack.
She is survived by her brother, Martin, and sister, Mary, both at Gladstone, Mich. There are also four nephews and three nieces.
