Jas. Boylan of Thorp, agent for the Plano machinery, was canvassing in this vicinity last week.

 

The Misses Bowen and Walter Carlon attended the teachers' institute last week.

 

The creamer opened Thursday wtih Ed. Tucker at the helm.

 

A. H. McCarty went to Withee Thursday.

 

Anthony Barr left for the city Friday.

 

Ben Andrews and daughter Clella went to Hemlock Tuesday last.

 

Bertha Wehrman has been sewing at G. B. Andrews' for a couple of weeks.

 

Mrs. N. H. Withee and son Theodore went through the village Friday to Withee.

 

The Andrews-Jorstad case came off Friday at Neillsville; it would be hard to tell from reports who came out victor.

 

The Misses McCarty, Edna and Libbie Bowen, and Messrs. Bowen, Barr and Carlon went to Hemlock Sunday evening.
