Butler's Corners

Bert Zimmerman passed by the Corners Wednesday, with his engine, on his way to Stanley, where he intends to thrash this fall. He only went about a hundred rods when he broke one of the cog wheels and had to leave it until he can get a new one.

The raspberry crop is a failure this year, the first time for six years.

Last Saturday W. C. Butler made a trip to Thorp.

Harry Mead passed by the Corners last Friday with five other men.

Joe Poquette has left the Corners for some time, and will not be back until hunting season.

A new wagon found its way to the Corners the first of the week.
