Buss, Fred #2 (25 NOV 1891 - 16 JUN 1952)

 

Fred Buss, age 60, passed away Monday at 1 o’clock p.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital where he had been ill with pneumonia.  He was well and getting ready to be dismissed when he suffered a heart attack.  He was born on Nov. 25, 1891 in the Town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.) where he grew to manhood.  For many years he owned and operated the Oakland Cheese Factory.  About 25 years ago he moved to Abbotsford and put up the building now occupied by the Coast to Coast Store, and had rooms for rent on the second floor where he also lived.  He was unmarried.  He is survived by two brothers, Herbert and Franklin, and one sister, Miss Martha, all of Curtiss on the home farm.  Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday p.m. at 2 o’clock from the Zink Funeral Home in Abbotsford, Wis.  The Rev. Harrison officiating.  Burial will be in the family lot in the Lutheran Parish cemetery in Green Grove.
