Huebscher, Katharine (28 Aug. 1867 - 13 Apr. 1953)  
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Huebscher, 85, who died Monday, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at Christ Lutheran church, with the Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating. The Ladies’ Aid, of which Mrs. Huebscher was a charter member, sang "I’m But a Stranger Here," and Miss Dorothy Kieser sang "The Lord is My Shepherd." 
 

Internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery with the following men serving as pallbearers: Hans Amacher, Emil Daellenbach, Fred Daellenbach, John Daellenbach, John Miller, and Walter Kuenzi.  
 

Relatives from away who were here for the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. George Hageman and family, Park Falls; and Henry Hageman, Park Ridge, Illinois. 
 

Mrs. Henry Huebscher was born Catherine Schlegel, in Switzerland, Aug. 28, 1867. She was married to August Hagemann, who preceded her in death. In June, 1917, she married Henry Huebscher. Both of them were members of Christ Lutheran church and also of the Zweitzerverein, of Medford. Mr. Huebscher died in 1944. 
 

Mrs. Huebscher, a long time resident of this area, spent the last three years at Marathon County Home for the Aged, where she died Monday, April 13, of old age complications. 
 

She is survived by the following children: George Hagemann, of Park Falls; Henry Hagemann, Park Ridge, Ill.; the following step-children: Mrs. Louise Miller, Mrs. Nellie Miller, Mrs. Julia Gray, Mrs. Anna Miller, all of Park Ridge, Ill.; Henry Huebscher, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Henry Wilhelmi, Abbotsford, Wis. Also surviving are numerous grand children and great grand children.
