Tresemer, Susan (Marriage - 24 June 1952) 
 

Miss Susan Tresemer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Tresemer of Neillsville became the bride of Everett P. Skroch, son of Paul Skroch of Neillsville, in a double ring ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Neillsville, Tuesday, June 24, at 9 o’clock.  Father John Pritzl officiated. 


The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown fashioned with a long train. The bodice of her gown was lace over satin with a sheer marquisette yoke. The skirt was of satin with a front lace panel. The veil was of illusion net with an edging of Chantilly lace falling from a bonnet of lace and orange blossoms.  Her flowers were pink roses and white swansonia. 
 

For her role as matron of honor, Mrs. Elton Imig, sister of the groom, wore a dress of coral satin made in a bouffant style.  She wore a crownless picture hat of matching satin and carried a bouquet of sweetheart roses and sweet peas. 
 

Mrs. Raymond Tesmer, who was bridesmaid, wore a dress styled like the matron of honor’s in Nile green. She also wore a matching hat and gauntlets. 
 

The groom was attended by Elton Imig as best man. The other attendant was Raymond Tesmer.  The ushers were Harry McIntyre and Dr. A. J. Fahrner. 
 

A reception and dinner were given at the Legion Hall in Neillsville for about 100 guests.  The hall was decorated with coral, green and white streamers and wedding bells and flowers. 
 

Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Simon Skroch, Mrs. Josephine Rumpel, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Skroch, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Skroch, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Skroch, Mr. and Mrs. Roman Smieja and Mrs. Rose Weir of Independence; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sygulla of Whitehall; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Karasch of Mauston; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wagner of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Francis Welsh of Altoona; Mrs. M. C. Scherer of La Crosse and Miss Mary Dickof, Marshfield. 
 

The bride was graduated from the Neillsville High School and  has worked the last four years as cashier at the A&P Store. 
 

The groom was graduated from the Neillsville High School and University of Wisconsin law school.  He has a law office in Neillsville and Thorp.  
 

The couple left for a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and will be home July 1 at 719 Hewett Street, Neillsville.
