Welch, Arlene (Marriage - 29 March 1952)

Miss Arlene Welch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Welch of Auburndale, and Lester Kuehn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kuehn of Granton, repeated their nuptial vows before the Rev. Erwin Wendling in a double ring ceremony performed at 2:30 o’clock, March 29, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Auburndale. Vows were said before an altar banked with baskets of yellow and red roses.

The groom was attended by Earl Welch of Burlington and Gerald and Roger Kuehn.

Terry Stoflet acted as ring bearer and Darlene Kuehn as flower girl.  Patricia Gruenke was the soloist.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the bride’s home for approximately 40 guests.  The house was decorated with green, yellow and orchid streamers.
