  Wood, Elsie #2 (16 JUN 1909)

At 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon occurred a pretty home wedding in which Mr. Charles Seif and Miss Elsie Wood were united in marriage by Rev. Risser.  The attending couple was Mr. Fred Seif and Miss Iva Wood, a brother and sister of the bride and groom.  The wedding took place at the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. David Wood, the bride’s parents, which was artistically decorated for the occasion, and was attended by a large number of relatives and friends.  Mr. and Mrs. Seif will go to housekeeping at once in the Wage residence on Grand Av.

Mr. Seif is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Seif and is a hard working and industrious young man.  He is employed as a machinist in the Howard and Seif Machine Shop and Garage and is a capable and reliable worker.  His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Wood and is a most estimable young lady.  During the past year she taught school at Hutchin’s Corners.  Mrs. Seif is a clever and conscientious young lady and will no doubt preside over her home in a very suitable manner.  The many friends of the young couple join in wishing them a long and happy married life.
