  Wenner, Peter, Mrs. (24 Aug 1889 - 2 Dec 1945)

 

This community was greatly shocked to hear of the sudden death of Mrs. Peter Wenner, who died of cancer at St. Joseph’s hospital in Marshfield Sunday morning, Dec. 2, at the age of 56 years.

 

Born in Manitowoc on Aug. 24, 1889, she was married to Peter Wenner on Nov. 29, 1911, at St. Boniface’s Catholic church, where she was baptized The couple moved to St. Paul soon after their marriage and lived there until 1920, when they moved to Taylor county. In 1930, they moved to Clark county, settling here.

 

Mrs. Wenner is survived by her husband; two son, William in Mexico and Joseph at home; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Schmidt of Neillsville and Miriam of Prairie du Chien; four grandchildren; five brothers and three sisters. One daughter, Marian, died in infancy.

 

Burial services were conducted at 9:30 o’clock last Thursday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Neillsville, with the Rev. J, A, Biegler officiating. Burial was made at Neillsville. Pallbearers were Joe and Tony Walter, Herman Magadanz, Ray Hannan, Leo Schecklman and Carl Bladl.
