 Ringquist, Gregory Louis (13 Aug. 1956 - 23 May 2009)

 LIBERTY HILL, Texas -- Gregory L. Ringquist, 52, of Liberty Hill, Texas, formerly of Loyal, died May 23, 2009, in Austin, Texas.

 A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. June 27 at the York Center United Methodist Church in Granton. Visitation will be held at the church from noon until time of service.

 Gregory Louis Ringquist was born Aug. 13, 1956, in Madison, the son of Alvin J. and Genevieve W. (Desanto) Ringquist. Following his education, he worked in the coal mines in Denver, Colo. He was united in marriage Aug. 31, 1974, in Denver to Jane Patricia Lato. They later moved to Storm Lake, Iowa, where Greg began working in concrete construction. In the mid-1980s, Greg and Jane moved to Crowley, Texas, where he continued his work in concrete construction. Jane preceded him in death on March 13, 2000.

 Greg was married to Cindy Olson on Aug. 24, 2001, at York Center United Methodist Church in Granton. They lived in Texas until the time of his death.

 He is survived by his wife, Cindy Olson-Ringquist of Liberty Hill, Texas; his two daughters, Shannon (Grant) Rice of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Laurie Love of Dallas, Texas; two granddaughters; his mother and stepfather, Jean (Al) Dahl of Loyal; his stepmother, Mary Merkel of Marshfield; two brothers, David (Deanna) Ringquist of Blackfoot, Idaho, and James Ringquist of Auburndale; two sisters, Dawn Ringquist of Wausau and Sue Ringquist of Pocatello, Idaho.

 Cuddie Funeral Home of Loyal is assisting the family with arrangements.
